Track Page Agreement

The rights, permissions and declarations that apply when you create a Track Page and submit it through the Platform.

Last updated Applies to: Artists and rights holders

1. Introduction

This Track Page Agreement (“Agreement”) applies whenever you create, manage, publish or use a Track Page through Artist Launcher. It forms part of the Artist Launcher Terms of Service and should be read together with the Privacy Policy and any other applicable Artist Launcher agreement or policy.

By creating or using a Track Page, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not create or use a Track Page on the Platform.

2. What is a Track Page?

A Track Page is a dedicated page created on Artist Launcher to represent, promote and support the discovery of a piece of music. It is intended to serve as a central source of information for that music within the ecosystem, and may be used to support discovery, promotion and submissions through the Platform.

A Track Page may relate to a single, EP, album, live recording, instrumental, music video or other supported release.

A Track Page may include, where applicable:

  • track information and metadata
  • artist information
  • album artwork
  • streaming links
  • MP3, WAV and video files
  • lyrics
  • media kits and promotional images
  • AI disclosures
  • copyright information
  • Performance Rights Organisation (PRO) information
  • publisher information
  • licensing contact information
  • submission preferences
  • rights management information

3. Creating your Track Page

When creating or updating a Track Page, you may be asked to provide:

  • artist name and track title
  • track information, genres, moods and similar artists
  • ISRC and UPC
  • release date
  • lyrics and artwork
  • MP3, WAV and video files, where supported
  • media kits
  • AI disclosures and explicit content declarations
  • Performance Rights Organisation and neighbouring rights information
  • publisher and licensing contact information
  • submission preferences

You are responsible for ensuring that the information contained within your Track Page is accurate, complete and kept reasonably up to date. Artist Launcher may rely upon that information when providing Platform services, facilitating submissions and supporting discovery opportunities.

4. Ownership & authority

By creating a Track Page, you represent and warrant that:

  • you own the content included within the Track Page, or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to upload, publish and share it
  • you have the authority to create, manage and maintain the Track Page
  • your Track Page and its content do not knowingly infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party
  • you have obtained any necessary permissions from copyright owners, performers, publishers or other rights holders
  • you have the authority to permit Artist Launcher to host, store, process, display and facilitate services relating to your Track Page and its associated content

Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of your copyright or other intellectual property to Artist Launcher. You retain ownership of your original content.

5. Samples, covers & third-party material

If your Track Page includes samples, cover songs, third-party recordings, third-party artwork or other copyrighted material, you confirm that you have obtained all necessary licences, permissions and approvals required for Artist Launcher to process, display and facilitate services relating to your Track Page and its associated content.

Artist Launcher may rely upon these declarations and is not responsible for independently verifying copyright ownership or licensing.

6. Accuracy of information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information contained within your Track Page is accurate, including metadata, AI disclosures, copyright information, rights management information, publisher details, licensing contacts, release dates, technical information and media kit information.

Artist Launcher may rely upon this information when operating your Track Page, facilitating submissions, generating metadata, providing discovery services and communicating with ecosystem participants.

7. Licence granted to Artist Launcher

By creating and maintaining a Track Page, you grant Artist Launcher, for the duration that your Track Page remains active on the Platform, a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:

  • host your Track Page and its associated content
  • store content uploaded to your Track Page
  • process and display your Track Page
  • generate previews
  • extract metadata and classify content
  • use AI-assisted processing
  • facilitate submissions
  • promote your track through Artist Launcher services
  • provide other services reasonably related to operating the Platform

This licence exists solely for the purpose of operating and improving Artist Launcher. It does not transfer ownership of your music.

8. Public Track Pages

Artist Launcher may create public Track Pages using information you choose to provide, including artist name, track title, artwork, description, genres, media kit and streaming links.

Public Track Pages may be shared by you, other participants, Artist Launcher or other users through publicly available links, social media or other lawful means. You remain responsible for the information you choose to publish, and where applicable public Track Pages may be indexed by search engines.

9. AI-assisted processing

Artist Launcher may use artificial intelligence and automated technologies to assist with metadata extraction, genre classification, search, matching, workflow automation, submission preparation and discovery services.

These technologies are used solely to support Platform functionality and improve the creation, presentation, discovery and submission of Track Pages. They do not replace independent human judgement where such judgement is required.

10. Submission services

Where you choose to submit your Track Page or its associated content through Artist Launcher, you authorise Artist Launcher to share information reasonably necessary to facilitate the requested service.

Depending on the service selected, this may include sharing your track with playlist curators, community and commercial radio stations, festivals, bloggers, journalists, labels, publishers, service providers and other approved ecosystem participants. Artist Launcher shares only the information reasonably necessary to facilitate the requested service.

11. Submission standards

To maintain the quality and integrity of the ecosystem, Artist Launcher may establish operational standards including submission eligibility requirements, genre or content matching, technical file requirements, metadata requirements, verification requirements, submission limits, station or participant preferences, AI disclosure requirements and quality assurance processes.

Compliance with these standards does not guarantee acceptance or selection.

12. No guarantee

Artist Launcher provides tools and opportunities to support discovery. Artist Launcher does not guarantee playlist placement, radio airplay, reviews, interviews, media coverage, festival selection, commercial opportunities, licensing opportunities, audience growth or any other outcome resulting from use of the Platform.

All decisions remain with the receiving participant.

13. Track Page removal

You may request removal of your Track Page from Artist Launcher, subject to legal obligations and any ongoing submissions or operational requirements.

Removing a Track Page does not automatically withdraw submissions that were already made to third parties before the removal request.

Artist Launcher may remove or restrict access to a Track Page where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to copyright complaints, investigate suspected infringement, protect participants, enforce Artist Launcher agreements or maintain the integrity of the Platform.

14. Suspension

Artist Launcher may suspend Track Page and submission privileges where a participant:

  • repeatedly provides inaccurate information
  • submits content without appropriate rights
  • abuses submission services
  • engages in fraud or deceptive conduct
  • repeatedly violates Artist Launcher agreements

15. Limitation of liability

Artist Launcher provides Track Page services on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artist Launcher is not responsible for decisions made independently by curators, radio stations, festivals, labels, publishers or other participants, nor for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of Track Page services.

16. Changes to this Agreement

Artist Launcher may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of Track Pages or related services after revised terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes.
