Sky Beyond the Mind

A conversation and pledge of devotion to the mystery of life

To the sky beyond the mind I’ve come to thank you For the wisdom and the blessing that you bring But your methods they are hard When you punish and reward One moment you are calm the next you are thundering Mm In the earth you have given me your body In the void there is no down there is no up Concealed and alone I will make for you a home Will stand up underneath the sky and hold my cup Mm Yes I am a child of the sea I’m out here on the waves I’m floating free Mm Inspiration cometh now to me If you are the flower I’m the bee Your painted petals opening Your sacred nectar on my skin And I will fly and bring it back to thee Mm I will bring it back to thee
