Stars Beneath the Sea

Life is meaningful and good, but no one ever promised it would be easy

Bare headed bare chested living free drained tested Woman eagle feathered soul tethered screaming child weathered Chew the worm for a moment’s silent worth Dreamed a birth mystery wrapped in ancient shadow spark of sea life Fine pain enveloped radiating centric circles convalescing render serving’s blessing Mm Embrace life embrace the mystery The stars beneath the sea shine bright And pull the heavens down to the ground Inside and all the way around See you cornered still so many foes ghosts and ills You are a war and cannot choose a side Mm The more you reason the more the hidden hides And when you feel it feels unreal like a wound that will not heal Take a breath breathe in life breathe out death Yes let it go that shell of soul and so you fall but that is peace and it will grow Embrace life embrace the mystery Your thoughts and words and deeds shine bright And pull the heavens down to the ground Inside and all the way around Embrace life embrace the mystery The stars beneath the sea are light That crack open the seeds in the ground Inside and all the way around Inside
