Stay Awhile

“STAY AWHILE” is the debut single from LASTSAY, an independent jazz-soul music project based in Berlin, Germany. Built around expressive female vocals, warm Fender Rhodes, melodic bass, rich jazz harmonies and Afro-influenced percussion, the song blends the elegance of contemporary jazz with the intimacy of soul. It is an invitation to slow down, stay in the moment and let the music speak when words are no longer enough. Release date: November 13, 2026. Genre: Jazz / Soul / Nu-Jazz.

“STAY AWHILE” grew from a simple thought: some moments are too meaningful to let disappear. We wanted to capture the feeling of a late-night conversation, when time seems to slow down and the smallest gestures carry the deepest emotions. The warmth of classic soul, the freedom of jazz improvisation and the natural pulse of rhythm inspired the sound. Every instrument has its own voice, yet everything comes together to tell one intimate story. For LASTSAY, this song marks the beginning of a musical journey. Every song, a story.

Slow down Let the evening breathe Stay awhile Stay with me Soft lights Moving through the room One more night One more groove Ooh, let it move Ooh, feel that groove Stay awhile Let the evening breathe
