The Filibusters - Sum of Our Past Lyrics I'll be on my way soon. Copying the trends too. Nothing but a footnote. It's all only stories. We are the sum of our past. And we're laid to rest. Our stories told. We are the sum of our past. And we're laid to rest. Our stories told. I'll be in a haze soon. Working on a new tune. Something only we know. A useless little melody. We are the sum of our past. And we're laid to rest. Our stories told. We are the sum of our past. And we're laid to rest. Our stories told. I used to write songs on a guitar. There was nothing special about me. But I think I made an effort. To be true to something meaningful. A tiny contribution. To the sound of us humans. And it's hard to succeed. When you are who you claim to be. And it's more fruitless than ever to make something real at least. And it's more fruitless than ever to make something real at least. to make something real at least to make something real at least
