Founded in 2023 by Mexican musician Darío Vázquez and joined by Paco Salinas, Sonophagen crafts a unique sound known as Nu Folk. Blending Arabic, African, Balkan, Eastern, Latin, and rock influences, their organic and cinematic music redefines traditional boundaries. Beyond crafting powerful tracks like Bosque de voces and Himeyuri, they established the Sonophagen Musical Collaboration Network to connect global independent artists. They are currently preparing their next studio album.
